Getting Started

1. Download and extract the ZIP
2. Run LessNode.exe — no installation needed
3. Double-click the canvas to create your first node
4. Press Tab to add a child node
5. Type your text, press Escape to finish editing
6. Use arrow keys to navigate between nodes
7. Press A to open the AI Assistant panel

Keyboard Shortcuts

• Double-click → New text node
• Tab → Add child node
• Enter → Add sibling node
• Arrow keys → Navigate between nodes
• A → Toggle AI Assistant
• Ctrl+S → Save
• Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y → Undo / Redo
• Delete → Remove selected nodes
• Ctrl+E → Export canvas as image

AI Assistant

LessNode includes an optional AI assistant that connects to any OpenAI-compatible API endpoint. Bring your own API key, describe your topic, and watch it generate a complete mind map structure.
